One of these missions brought him to Colorado, where Roxxon had discovered the unconscious body of James Hudson, the original Guardian and leader of Alpha Flight. Roxxon wanted to use Hudson’s technology for their purposes, but Windshear could not stop an outside force from interfering. That force turned out to be Madison Jeffries, another member of Alpha Flight who had the power to manipulate metal and technology.
